Mountains in the Clouds
Here is another first rendering from Raoul (16) India. He used the following way :
(1) : Download a Map from USGS,select an interesting part of the big map
(2) : import this map into World Machine 3 - Terrain settings 16k, without erosion node ! save as a PNG
(3) : import this PNG Map into VUE (Raoul work with Vue xstream 2016). Set the Terrain to 16k
(4) : export this terrain Map as a TIFF
(5) : import into Blender 3D Cycles (Microdisplacement) - this part was inspired by Gleb Alexandrov
on his lates Tutorials on Youtube.
(6) : In B3D Cycles : adaptive rendering res. 0.2 / Geometry Render : 0.1px / Max Subd. 16
(7) : Sky : 32bit EXR 20K map
(8) : Clouds also made via B3D
(9) : first test with RealAtmo 0.2 beta addon - simulates a real Atmosphere in B3D Cycles (Haze, Mist
Fog, post frontal warm and coldfront air with layering setup and much more..)
Computer : Intel Core i7-6900K, 64GB RAM, NVidia Geforce GTX 1080
Rendered on PHOTON 12 (Cycles)
